Vaccine Passport coming Nov 15

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

Salon Fortelli & Spa has decided to opt into the Government of Ontario vaccination passport system to allow us to operate at full capacity beginning on November 15th. On your first visit we will be doing a full vaccination verification with your ID and enhanced QR code using Verify Ontario App. The Verify Ontario App makes the process of proving and verifying full vaccination status easier, more secure and convenient. You DO NOT need to download the app, it is for businesses to scan QR codes for verification. You only need to have your enhanced vaccine certificate, a printed or digital file is OK. Please note that QR codes provided by third parties are not valid, you must have the enhanced vaccination certificate provided by the Ontario Government. There are detailed instructions on how to download your enhanced vaccination certificate below.

After your first visit you may choose for us to store your status in our booking system or we can scan your enhanced QR code on each subsequent visit. Clients under 12 years of age will still be screened and are not required to show proof of vaccination.

Choosing to opt into the Government of Ontario vaccination passport system to allow us to operate at full capacity but changes not much else. We will still be operating under strict public health guidelines.

We will keep distance as often as we can and most plexi-glass barriers will remain in place. If you would like to come in on a day when distance will be easier to maintain we suggest Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We will also begin using our closet on November 15th. Hangers will be disinfected after each use and dry cleaner bags are available if you would like extra protection.

To learn about the public health protocols in place at Salon Fortelli & Spa please visit our COVID-19 information page.
